We have been growing and using herbs in our everyday lives for over 30 years and it has become a way of life. We are not a retail Plant Nursery, simply passionate gardeners and users of herbs with lots and lots of seed in surplus.

We grow the herbs in gardens, not hothouses so that they are open pollinated and climate hardened.

We have been selling our seed online since 2004 and even though we do supply some of Australia's leading Retail Nurseries and Research facilities with seed, our main focus is on the home gardener wanting to grow the plants that can enhance their lives.

All seeds are 'heirloom' meaning that they will reproduce themselves in a 'true' sense, and, once planted, you can save the seed to continue the process.

 We have included, where appropriate, our experiences in growing and using the herbs but this is by no means an instructional website for the use of herbs, medicinally or otherwise.

We encourage everyone to research the use of these and all medicinal plants as thoroughly as possible and to this end, we have included our own selected list of reference books to help. We are always wary of anecdotal information and never use it as a substitute for fact.

All of the reference material listed in the bibliography is simply a sliver of that which we deem useful and has some basis in scientific enquiry, but it is a start.

Any therapeutic description on any of the pages is there only to explain the differences between the plants that we use and the rest of the plant kingdom.
So we all know that we are talking about the same thing.
